Prophetic Decree and Declaration Against the Spirit of Offense

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I decree and declare:

We reject and renounce the spirit of offense in our lives, churches, and communities. We will not allow any cause of offense—be it omission, favoritism, failure, envy, non-recognition, supplanting, or embarrassment—to take root in our hearts or minds.

The Word of God says in Proverbs 18:19, “A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city…” Therefore, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we choose to be that brother or sister who is quick to forgive, slow to anger, and ready to be reconciled.

The Lord calls us to guard our hearts carefully (Proverbs 4:23), and so, we declare we are armed with spiritual discernment to detect every subtle device of offense, and we cast them down at the feet of Jesus.

We decree that offense will not lead to rage or division in our lives, but rather, love, unity, and peace will abound, for we walk in the fullness of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:2-3).

In these last days, when offense will be prevalent (Matthew 24:10), we declare that we will endure to the end, holding fast to our faith, and we will not be drawn into betrayal or hatred, but will remain strong in love and truth.

As Jesus commanded in Matthew 5:44-45, we choose to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who spitefully use and persecute us. We will not be moved or offended because we are sons of the Most High God.

We declare that the spirit of offense is broken off from our lives by the cross of Jesus. No weapon formed against us through offense shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in accusation shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

We release grace upon grace to remain humble, teachable, and quick to restore relationships, for we know that offense is a stronghold that must be demolished for genuine apostolic influence and ministry to flow through us.

By the authority of heaven, we declare peace in our hearts, families, and ministries, and we decree that offense shall not be a stumbling block or a barrier to God’s purpose in our lives.

Finally, we decree that we are covered by the blood of Jesus against every plot of the enemy to cause offense, division, and strife. We break every chain of offense and declare freedom, healing, and restoration over ourselves and those around us.
We decree it. We declare it. So shall it be in Jesus’ name, Amen!
