Heavenly Father,
in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, I come before Your throne of grace with a humble heart, seeking Your mercy and deliverance.
Lord, I ask You to forgive me for every way I have caused strife, discord, contention, or division within Your body, the Church.
Father, I confess that pride and self-importance have no place in me.
Your Word says that pride stirs up contention (Proverbs 13:10). I repent of any form of conceit, haughtiness, or selfishness that has caused disrespect or friction among my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Holy Spirit, bring humility to my heart.
Lord, deliver me from the spirit and practice of tale-bearing, slander, and foolish words (Proverbs 16:28).
Help me to guard my tongue so that I speak only words that build up, encourage, and bring peace.
Remove any habits of idle chatter, gossip, or boasting that could hurt the unity of Your Church.
Father, reveal and remove any bitterness, resentment, hatred, or unforgiveness I may be harboring from my heart (Proverbs 10:12).
Teach me to love as You love, covering all sins in love and extending grace to others.
Lord Jesus, deliver me from indignation and anger that quickly stirs strife (Proverbs 29:22).
Fill me with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help me be slow to anger but quick to forgive.
Help me, Father, to avoid fault-finding and judgmental attitudes that tear down rather than build up (Mark 7:2).
Instead, grant me a spirit of grace and mercy, seeing others through Your eyes.
I reject every evil spirit of division, envy, jealousy, and bitterness that seeks to sow discord in the body of Christ (Judges 9:23; 1 Samuel 19:9-11).
I break their hold and declare freedom and unity in Jesus’ name.
Lord, cleanse my heart from sensual desires, selfish ambition, and worldly wisdom that lead to quarrels and fights (James 4:1-3).
Fill me with Your wisdom that is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy (James 3:17).
Holy Spirit, guide me to walk in unity, humility, and love at all times. Help me be a peacemaker and a vessel of Your peace in the body of Christ, that no strife may come through me but only Your perfect peace and unity.
I thank You, Father, for Your deliverance, healing, and restoration.
I speak peace and oneness over the Church, binding every spirit of strife in the mighty name of Jesus.
