Father God,
Thank You for entrusting us with the precious gift of children.
We come before You now, committing ourselves as parents to honor, esteem, and value our children according to Your will.
Lord, help us to be parents who PRAY without ceasing –
interceding with You on behalf of our children just as Hannah, Job, David, and Abraham prayed.
May our prayers be a powerful hedge of protection, wisdom, and blessing over every generation.
Give us hearts full of AFFECTION, Lord – true love, compassion, and kindness that reflect Your tender mercy toward our children.
May we hate every vile act and spirit of neglect, abandonment, or harm toward them,
and instead nurture them with Your steadfast love.
Father, teach us to show RESPECT to our children,
to raise them up gently and spiritually,
never provoking them to anger or discouragement,
but building them up with grace and godly exhortation.
Grant us wisdom to impart EDUCATION diligently –
to teach Your truth day and night,
to write Your Word on our hearts and in the hearts of our children,
using memorials, stories, and life examples to root them deeply in Your covenant.
Enable us to provide true NURTURING –
to supply their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs with discipline, correction, and patience,
just as Proverbs teaches that discipline is an act of love and care.
Help us be providers and protectors, always mindful of their well-being.
Lord, empower us to continually TRAIN our children –
setting Godly examples in word and deed,
leading them in the way they should go so that when they grow old they will not depart from Your ways.
May our lives reflect the genuine faith passed down through generations.
Father, as we fulfill these duties,
we decree that our homes will be places of peace, wisdom, and righteousness.
Our children will grow in grace and knowledge of You, powerful in the Spirit and strong in faith
We rebuke every attack of neglect, rebellion, and ungodliness.
We declare the covenant blessings of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob upon our families.
By Your power, we will be steadfast intercessors, loving caregivers, respectful guides, wise teachers, nurturing providers, and faithful trainers.
We commit to obeying Your Word and following Christ’s example in raising our children for Your glory.
We declare this in the mighty name of Jesus,
in whom all families in heaven and earth are named.
