Bullying is when someone is mean or hurtful to others.
God teaches us to love one another and be kind.
Bullying is wrong because God wants us to treat others the way we want to be treated. When we bully or fight, God is not pleased because it does not show the love and kindness of Jesus .
What is Bullying?
Bullying means hurting others with words or actions again and again. It can be:
• Saying mean things
• Leaving someone out
• Hitting or pushing
• Making fun of someone
The Bible tells us that God wants us to be kind and gentle, just like Jesus .
Why God is Not Pleased with Bullying?
God loves everyone and made us to love others too. When we bully someone, we disobey God’s command to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:39).
God sees all our actions and wants us to be kind, forgiving, and helpful, not mean or hurtful .
The Character of Christ to Learn
Jesus showed us how to:
• Be kind to everyone
• Forgive others even when it is hard
• Stand up for those who are hurt
• Treat others how we want to be treated
We can ask Jesus to help us be more like Him every day .
How to Be a Friend and Stop Bullying
• Speak kindly and encourage others
• Tell a teacher or adult if someone is being bullied
• Stand up gently for others who need help
• Pray for those who bully and those who are bullied .

• Tagged children pretend doing chores until a “Rescuer” frees them.
• Discuss how being bullied or stuck feels and how Jesus rescues us .

Prayer Against Bullying
I am a child of God, beautifully made in His image. I choose to love my friends and be kind to them every day.
I will not bully or hurt others because God’s Word says:
• “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mark 12:31)
• “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” (Luke 6:31)
• “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other.” (Ephesians 4:32)
• “Let no evil talk come out of my mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up.” (Ephesians 4:29)
• “I will not repay evil for evil, but I will bless others instead.” (1 Peter 3:9)
I choose to be like Jesus, who showed kindness and love to everyone.
When I am tempted to be mean, I will pray for God’s help to be patient and gentle.
I promise to stand with others, speak kind words, and be a true friend.
God’s Spirit gives me power, love, and self-discipline, so I can be strong and loving, not a bully.
Today, I declare I will shine God’s love by being kind, caring, and respectful to all my friends.
Amen.
