Heavenly Father,
according to Your Word in 2 Peter 1:5-11, we come boldly before You, giving all diligence (Strong’s G4710 spoude) to add to our faith virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love.
Lord, ignite within us an exceeding and intense dedication to bind ourselves fully to the course You have set.
By Your Spirit, cultivate in us immediacy and promptness to respond to Your call swiftly and without delay, just as Ezra and Mary moved quickly in obedience (Ezra 6:12; Luke 1:39).
Fill our hearts with earnest love that compels us to labor with zeal and passion for Your kingdom.
Grant us industriousness—enable us to be hardworking, diligent, and purposeful, lest we fall short or stumble (Hebrews 4:11; 2 Peter 1:10).
Let goodness and uprightness (Hebrew 3477 yashar) form the foundation of our lives, reflecting Your holiness in all we do.
Lord, awaken in us earnestness to seek You fervently and early, like the dawn breaking through the darkest night. Remove all resistance; help us listen attentively and obey without complaint or hesitation , walking in complete submission to Your perfect will.
Instill conscientiousness—a careful and circumspect spirit that we might execute Your commands with precision and care.
Strengthen us to endure patiently and persistently ,continuing steadfastly in prayer, fellowship, and the ministry of the Word.
Lord, Your Word declares that dominion belongs to the diligent (Prov. 10:4, 12:24). We declare that the hand of diligence is upon us; by Your grace, we receive the power to rule, prosper, and be fruitful.
Let our plans be established and lead to abundance, not haste or poverty (Prov. 21:5).
Father, as we walk in righteous diligence, confirm our calling and election, making us fruitful and unshakable, fit for entrance into Your eternal kingdom (2 Pet. 1:10-11).
We commit to this journey with all diligence, empowered by Your Spirit, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
