We declare, in Jesus’ name, a call to Christlikeness, so clear,
Transformed into His image, and likeness, we’ll persevere.
The visible manifestation, of the invisible God, we’ll see,
Bearing His image, not accidental, or superficial, but a garment, worn daily, and visibly displayed, we’ll be.
We’ll put on the Lord Jesus Christ, clothing ourselves, in His righteousness, and holiness, we’ll see,
Giving no room, for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts, we’ll be free.
God is working within us, laboring in birth again, until Christ is formed in us, we’ll see,
Bringing us through, the first travail, of regeneration, into new life, and through the second travail, of maturity, and perfection, we’ll be.
We’ll grow up, into all things, into Him, who is the Head, Christ, we’ll see,
Leaving behind, the old man, with its deeds, and putting on, the new man, who is renewed, according to His image, we’ll be.
We’ll mature, into the perfect man, to the measure, of the stature, of the fullness of Christ, we’ll see,
Standing unified, in faith, and knowledge, of the Son of God, equipped, for every good work, and ministry, we’ll be.
We’ll present every man, perfect in Christ Jesus, we’ll see,
As He is, so are we, in this world, our positional reality, we’ll be.
The imputation, of His righteousness, ensures, that we stand, as His exact representatives, among men, we’ll see,
We’ll reveal the image, and likeness, of the Father, fulfilling the earnest expectation, of creation itself, eagerly waiting, for this unveiling, we’ll be.
The times of refreshing, from the Lord, will bring us, into more accurate, and exact positions, to reflect His glory, without distortion, we’ll see,
Our lives, will be living epistles, clear, and unmistakable reflections, of Christ, bearing His fragrance, into every sphere, of influence, we’ll be.
May His perfect image, be formed in us, boldly displayed, in our character, ministry, love, and service, till He is all, and in all, we’ll see,
This is the divine destiny, of the church, to be the face, of God, on the earth, formed, matured, and perfected, in Christ likeness, carrying His nature, declaring His glory, and extending His kingdom, through every realm, of life, we’ll be.
