We declare, in the name of Jesus, that the intent of God for every believer is clear and unstoppable: to be transformed into the exact image and likeness of Christ, the visible manifestation of the invisible God.
Christ is not merely a model to admire from afar but the very facsimile of the Father, the perfect expression of Divine nature, the face of God turned toward the world.
As it is written, “We bear the image of the man of dust; we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man” (1 Corinthians 15:49). This bearing of His image is not accidental or superficial—it is as if putting on a garment, worn daily and visibly displayed.
We are called to “put on the Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 13:14), to clothe ourselves in His righteousness and holiness, giving no room for the flesh to fulfill its lusts.
We confess that God is working within us, “laboring in birth again until Christ is formed in you” (Galatians 4:19), bringing us through the first travail of regeneration into new life, and through the second travail of maturity and perfection.
We are to grow up into all things into Him who is the Head, Christ (Ephesians 4:15), leaving behind the old man with its deeds, and putting on the new man who is renewed according to His image (Colossians 3:9-10).
We declare a resolve to mature into the perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13), to stand unified in faith and knowledge of the Son of God, equipped for every good work and ministry.
We acknowledge that this perfection is not for self-exaltation but for exact representation—to present every man perfect in Christ Jesus (Colossians 1:28).
As the Word declares, “as He is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). This is our positional reality.
The imputation of His righteousness ensures that we stand as His exact representatives among men.
We boldly proclaim that the sons of God arise now in this hour to reveal the image and likeness of the Father, fulfilling the earnest expectation of creation itself, eagerly waiting for this unveiling (Romans 8:19).
Let the times of refreshing from the Lord bring us into more accurate and exact positions to reflect His glory without distortion. Let our lives be living epistles, clear and unmistakable reflections of Christ, bearing His fragrance into every sphere of influence.
May His perfect image be formed in us, boldly displayed in our character, ministry, love, and service, till He is all and in all.
This is the divine destiny of the church: to be the face of God on the earth, formed, matured, and perfected in Christ likeness, carrying His nature, declaring His glory, and extending His kingdom through every realm of life.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
