We set our minds, on Christ Jesus, today,
Declaring Your mind, be our mind, in every way.
The same mind, that was in Christ, who humbled Himself,
We’ll walk in obedience, to Your will, and Your wealth.
We’ll walk with the wise, to grow in wisdom, and discernment, too,
Surrounding ourselves, with those who encourage, godly thoughts, anew.
We’ll exercise thought control, bringing every thought, into captivity,
To the obedience, of Christ, we’ll see, and we’ll be free.
We’ll punish every disobedient thought, casting down every argument,
And every high thing, that exalts itself, against the knowledge, of God, we’ll see.
Purify our minds, removing all ungodly thoughts, and replacing them, with Your truth,
We’ll meditate on Your Word, day and night, carefully obeying, all that is written, therein, we’ll see.
We’ll guard and guide, our hearts, with all diligence, we’ll see,
Refusing to allow, our minds to deceive us, or play games, we’ll be free.
We’ll bring our emotions, under the influence, of Your Word, and follow Your instruction, wholeheartedly, we’ll see,
We’ll receive Your knowledge, and wisdom, with eagerness, and hold fast, to Your Word, as our light, and our guide, we’ll be.
May Your divine mind, rest upon us, and transform us, so fully,
That ungodly thoughts, have no place, within us, we’ll see.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we’ll declare, this truth, and we’ll see,
A renewed mind, that reflects, Your glory, and Your might, we’ll be.
